Windy Scandinavian is renowned for building some of the highest quality and most capable sports boats in the world, and the Windy SR44 Blackhawk is no exception.

MADNESS was originally supplied to her current owner in 2020 and has since been used exclusively for day trips from her base in Puerto Andratx, Mallorca.

The yacht’s specification was meticulously considered. For example, she is fitted with a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer and specified with lithium batteries, allowing the stabilizer to run without the need for installation or the noise of a running generator.

The aft cockpit features a social U-shaped seating area with an electronic table that retracts to create a large sunbathing space. The aft backrest can also be adjusted. This area is protected by the hardtop, electric sunshade, and an additional full aft shade with stainless poles, as well as side and aft mesh screens.

MADNESS is powered by twin Volvo D6-440 engines on outdrives, which include the Joystick docking system. These engines have DPI drives, enabling the yacht to be trimmed to conditions and providing a sporty, first-class driving experience. This SR44 Blackhawk is further enhanced with the Humphree interceptor system, which automatically controls the yacht’s trim and allows you to control the list from port to starboard.

Additional notable equipment includes the hydraulic gangway, hydraulic platform, air conditioning system, and teak-laid decking throughout the deck area.

The accommodation is finished in the “dark interior” scheme from Windy Boats. She offers spacious accommodation for four, with a double berth forward and an amidships cabin with twin single berths. There is also a well-appointed galley and a bathroom with electric heads and a shower.
